14weeks and braxton hicks?

Hi!! Since friday(july 1st) ive been having horrible Braxton Hicks, ended up in the ER Sunday with them, was told they were contractions and i was dialating but the dr wouldnt do anything for it, (im 14weeks) and i called my dr tuesday when they opened, she checked me and told me they were braxton hicks and to just monitor them, and i wasnt at all dialated.. Well today im having them again, and they last all day. Idk if this is normal or if i should be concerned. My dr i see isnt really a dr shes a nurse practitioner (on base you cant see a dr till later on or at least thats what they told me) so i havent been told if this is normal or concerning. Theyre horrible, i have a high pain tolerance but these things suck!! I drink lots of water, try walking, stretching, but nothing helps.. Anyone experience them this early??? And how did you get theough them?? I would love somw feed back! Thank you!!
