Am I doing something wrong ?

So I've been with my boyfriend for 10 months, in the beginning we had sex every day multiple times a day, eventually that slowed down which is inevitable.. Let me add in, we've lived together since day 1. Fast forward to the past like 4 months.. His sex drive is basically non existent, but he jerks off. We've talked about it and I've asked him if theirs something I could do to make it better or spice it up.. And he swears up and down its nothing to do with me and I'm sexy, beautiful, all the above. So then I say well why don't you ever want to have sex and he says I want to have sex every single day but I want you to start it and come onto me. Meaning he wants me to start the foreplay & so on.. Which I don't mind at all & I always do.. But sometimes I'd like for him to start it.. Why do I ALWAYS have to be the one to start? Ya know. And I talk to him about that too and he just says " I really like when you start it." Is there anything I can do to make him come onto me more often or hint that I want to have sex, or spice things up? Anddd we are extremely open with each other & very sexual.. Do & try anything type.
