Period & TTC

I had a period in May no period in June and yesterday I started cramping and having spotting and today I've cramped literally all day & I've been bleeding (red&brown) but not even enough to fill up a pad/tampon..  I took a test last week because I THINK I had a cyst rupture and the Dr told me to test it was negative ..  But I'm having a very light "period" any suggestions or advice ??
