Natural ways to induce labor? And go!

What have you done to induce labor naturally and it actually work? How long after you did it did you go in labor?

I was 39 weeks with my first and my wonderful husband "dragged" me around Walmart...lol. It was dark outside so we walked as fast as I could around the inside, outside wall as many times as I could stand. My belly got rock hard. We did that about 8 and went to hospital around 12. Had our son next evening around 7. You will want to stop and rest. DON'T! Have you SO make you speed walk until you feel like your going to drop. Good Luck!!

Honestly, none of the methods will actually work unless you're already ready to have the baby. Just don't drink castor oil, but otherwise you can feel free to try. Nothing worked for me but the hospital drugs.

I was 39 weeks. We weren't trying to induce but, we had sex around 10pm and my water broke at 2:30am. No clue if it was actually related.

I don't know how much it actually helped, but I drank plenty if raspberry tea. Stayed active.

And two days before my due date, I got a facial, massage, mani and pedi. Baby popped out only one day late. I like to think it was the pampering that brought her out in a timely fashion. ;)

I did some kegel exercises, squats, and went swimming. My water broke later that night.

I've heard a lot of nurses say to drink castor oil

Sex, red raspberry leaf tea, pumping/nipple stimulation, massage, acupuncture, but please don't do Caster oil. From the people that I know that did it, it was horrible, and didn't put a couple of them through labor.
