when to test

this month I ovulated on day 8 which is bit earlier than usual, and this after a period of only 2 days. I am normally on a 27 day cycle so not sure when to take a pregnancy test. Do I wait 12 after ovulation, which will be 7 days before I am due a period. or wait 5 days before when I would normally be due to start period. using glow and Ovia and they are suggesting very different time frames. any help would be great.
