Were the majority of your baby shower gifts purchased from your registry?

I am just curious to see if people really do buy items from registries or if I should worry about not getting what we need.

We are so lucky Everyone our purchased off of our registry! We only have little odds and ends to purchase now.

More often than not people will buy baby clothes and cutsey things. But who knows, some people get their whole registries gifted to them at the baby shower. Personally, my husband and I got all the necessary things ourselves before the shower. Now we don't feel stressed about having a bunch of things to get this close to baby coming. And we also weren't disappointed with any of the things we were given because we didn't have any expectations :)

Our shower is next month, we decided to only register at one place since  people don't follow registries most of the time. Also didn't register for clothes, mostly because summer clothes are out and im due in October but also because people will buy what they want. Thankful for gift receipts 😂😂😂

A lot of people don't, but where I am from people usually buy clothes and then give a gift card. A friend of mine just had her slower and got some of the big things but not the smaller things she needs (towels, face cloths, pacifier etc.)
