Short cervix- due to cervical cancer removal
Hey all, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer back in January and was able to beat it after 2 small procedures that ended up shortening my cervix down to 2.6 cm. we thought it would be very hard to get pregnant after all the surgeries and we got very luck, we got a clean bill of health on April 5th and were pregnant a week later 😀
However now my OB is concerned about the length and has ordered it to be monitored every week and also requested a specialist to take a look at my scans. I'm super nervous and don't really know how to handle it as I'm my family I'm the calm one and if I seem nervous everyone else will too.
Any advice on how people dealt with the idea or preterm labour ? Also was anyone effected by this with more than one of their children?
