What are the best baby carriers experienced momma's??

I want to buy a good baby carrier. Any thoughts. I have a moby wrap that I loved and used but it was heavy and hot at times. Lots of fabric. What about the tula? Or ergo? They are expensive. My husband also wants something he can wear that will support baby and his back well.

I tried a few with my first and hands down kinderpack, however they are hard to come by. Our second favorite is Tula , we have one for this baby already. I would suggest a good ring sling as a newborn though, and then an actual carrier when they are 6-8 weeks with an insert. That's why I like the kinderpack because you don't need a insert with their infant size.

I'm getting a lilebaby because it doesn't need an insert like ergo or tula and can be used from 7-45lbs and then I have my toddler tula of my son's to use when this one gets older

If you loved the Moby (I did too, but same complaints) what about a k'tan? Not terribly expensive, looks like it'll carry similarly to the Moby with WAY less fabric. I'm trying that this time.

I also have a 3-4 year old ergo sport (or performance?) And it was also hot, and I didn't want to but insert so I couldn't use it until he was 3ish months+. However a friend has a new ergo sport/(performance?) And it looks like they've really improved the fabrics to be MUCH cooler. Other than being terribly hot I mostly liked the ergo. The only other thing I didn't like was that it clipped in a spot on my waist that REALLY mashed out & accentuated my post baby belly in a very unflattering way.

I'm in Houston, TX, so we get hot 😉

I was going back and forth between the Tula and lilebaby and ended up getting a Tula with the infant insert cause I liked their prints way better. Haha!

I should add I loved the ergo but once my son was 6 months it started getting uncomfortable and so we switched to Tula and it made a worlds difference!
