Should I call the police?!.... Long story below...

Creepy and kind of gross something I found down below. (No pic) Ok so my boyfriend lives in a bad area. There a "haunted" street called Dyers Lane. (California). The history of Dyers is that someone who was one of the main people in the kkk supposedly lives there. This streets in the middle of no where. Cops hate going down that street because there was one shot and killed there in the 1920's and it still creeps them out. My boyfriend and I go down that street during the day because it's pretty. At night, it's like a horror movie. There NO lights. It's pitch black dark and when I say pitch black, you can't even see where you are. There's remains of burned down houses in the fields and it's a very sketchy vibe. There's a lot of people that still to this day get shot, stabbed, or comit suicide. Near this street is a very high crime area. HERES THE GROSS/CREEPY PART! We were driving down there the other day looking around and something smelled horrible!! On our way back I saw a black garbage bag. The smell was coming from the garbage bag. (A lot of things that are to be hidden are throw on the side of this street because not many people go down there.) The smell was unbelievable. I was gagging it was so bad. The bag was tied with a rope and no joke, it was perfectly human body structure... We drove off immediately because we got so scared. There were tons and tons of flies covering the bag... I'm thinking about going back tomorrow (we found this yesterday). Should I open the bag?! Should I call the non emergency police line and tell them?! IDK WHAT TO DO!!! This smell was NOT trash. There's no way possible. A lot of guns, knives and other "weapons" get dumped down there when someone had committed a crime with them. I want to look in the bag but I'm scared of finding a DEAD BODY!! I had nightmares last night... I'm so scared but I know I need to do something so I can have a little closure, knowing what's in the bag... What do you guys this I should do?!? FIND OUT MYSELF? CALL THE COPS? 

For those of you who wanted an UPDATE💕 and couldn't find my other post... I went back and opened the bag with my boyfriend. Inside was a dead, rotting, cut up cow. The smell was unbelievable....
