Oral sex caused itchiness

I had oral sex with a new partner around a week ago. Since then I've had a significant amount of itching down there, its been very irritated and red. Along with what may look like a soar but I'm unclear if it's just a side affect of me rubbing down there a lot to get rid of the itch. SOS.
