Backstory- We did a ultrasound to find out the gender and only my MIL and my mother knew what it was until the reveal that Saturday. My parents are divorced btw. We were up at the lake when we did the reveal. My dad and two sisters came. My mother did not.

Anyways I was talking to her on the phone the day before the ultrasound and she said, "Well I'm gonna let your dad be the one there for the gender reveal and I'll be there at the hospital when it's born." I said that I'm gonna let my dad know when I go into labor. And she said "well you won't want him in the room with you." I said no but it's just gonna be me and Ben. She said, "oh, you'll want your mother there." I replied nah I don't think so. And she said yea you will. 

Knowing my conniving mother, I just know she is gonna try her best to get in there. Has anyone else had this experience, or told the nurses you did not want a certain person back there. How did it "pan out?"
