Pap smear

So I had a pap last weekend and got a call from my nurse, not my doctor, telling me to pick up my prescription from my pharmacy for a yeast infection. She said she wasn't sure what was wrong it could be a number of things but that I probably need another pap. I asked if it was cancerous and she said it could be in 20 years if I hadn't have gotten it checked. Uhm so are yeast infections cancerous? She said my dr didn't test for hpv...But my dr said when she did it it tested for cervical cancer and other abnormalities. I'm just so anxious, luckily baby will be fine no matter what thank god.. But I'm really worried now. Has anyone else had a similar thing happen? I'm thinking worst case scenario and I'm not ready to die. I'm so scared. =[
