Anyone have any tips for using a Doppler? (Plus sized)

I know since we have some extra cushion it can be harder to find the heart beat so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips! I'm only 8w3d so it may be early still but I would just really like to try hard to find it. This is my rainbow so I'm freaking over everything and finding the heartbeat would ease my mind! I have the sonoline B by the way.

Still very early to pick up on a Doppler. Try after 12 weeks. Baby is so low in your pubic bone its almost impossible. I'm plus size also. After 12-14 weeks I could pick it up every time. Go super low. Point the probe downward into your pubic bone. Dr's don't even try to use a Doppler until 14-16 weeks because its so hard to find. Now at 22 weeks I have no problem finding her heartbeat.

I am plus sized too. Start super duper low... Like if you think you're low... Go lower.  I can't remember when I found my baby's heartbeat, but I remember it being so low that it wasn't even my tummy the Doppler was on.  Now I'm 32 weeks and it's been fairly easy to find her since about 18 weeks.  I get the nerves as this too is my rainbow baby.  All the best to you!.

You won't get it before 10 weeks AT BEST. And start very low. You may have to press harder. I do. It may take a while and don't get discouraged if you don't get it. And don't do it every day. It's not recommended and it will just drive you nuts you can't find it. Lol.

It's too early for a heartbeat. I can never find the heartbeat,  my husband has to do the searching.  I agree to start low but it could be anywhere. One time it was up by my navel.  Press down through the cushion, have your gel, a towel, and have fun with it.  Don't freak out.
