Question

So I am 19 weeks and I haven't felt my baby yet. I am plus size and know that that will have something to do with it, but when did plus size mamas start feeling those little kicks with baby #1?

I felt the first "flutters" at 18wks and it was random.  By 21wks the sensations intensified more and I could tell it was the baby. The feeling was beyond gas bubbles people talk about 😊 give it time.

I thought my weight was going to effect when I'd feel baby... Or even others getting to feel her. It doesn't.  You'll feel your baby.  Could be a placenta thing or first time mom thing.  Be patient... Before long your gonna watch your belly in amazement as it moves all over! I even got to see the outline of my baby while lying down.... Don't know if you can tell in the picture but I'll post it so you can see a bit. 😉

With my first I didn't feel her until about 21 weeks. Started soft but then turned into bigger movements. You're doing great!

I'm having baby #2, over the last week and a half started having flutters (thought it was the gas feeling) over the last 3 days I've felt a big movement of sorts each day, currently 16 weeks. Don't stress mama, if you're feeling good and have no other indications of trouble baby will do it in their own time.

Im plus size with an anterior placenta and I didn't feel kicks until about 22 weeks but it was very sporadic at that. Now that I'm 29 weeks, I realize I was feeling him probably around 19/20weeks but didn't realize what the flutters and gas sensations were at the time. I know it's hard to stay patient but you'll feel them soon enough!

I'm plus size also. This is my third baby and every baby you tend to feel things sooner. I've felt my baby move since about 14 weeks. I also have an anterior placenta which makes feeling movement harder. Placenta placement has a lot to do with feeling baby move.
