Baby belly "too small!"
22 weeks today! I weight 125lbs, I workout quite a bit. My baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Anatomy scan went great! Everything looks perfect. He's growing perfectly and kicks all day long! He also sleeps in a ball down and the to right in my uterus. Every ultrasound that's where he is unless he's awake and jumping around. (I'm a nurse so when it's slow we play with the ultrasound machine). However, because he sits so low all the time, I don't have a classic "baby bump" and I get slammed for it all the time. People really don't understand that it's just as hurtful to make "too small" and "too skinny" comments as it is to make the opposite. My sister in law is pregnant and 9 weeks ahead of me but she also carries the baby high and out. So she has a big belly bump. And every time I see them, or my MIL all I hear about is how I weigh too little and "are you sure you're pregnant" or how I need to get the baby checked because I'm too small and my baby probably isn't growing.. Ect.. It's mean, and really rains on our otherwise exciting experience.
