Why not? The only things you're not supposed to eat are sushi and alcohol!

I've specifically read that any meat that is 'cured' like beef jerky and those pepperette sticks are fine even if you are trying to stay away from sandwich meats. Their cooking process makes it so listeria can't grow. So unless it's the high salt content that you should be staying away from, then there is nothing else wrong with them.

You'll never avoid everything they say. Listeria can be in fresh vegetables , soft serve ice cream, lunch meat .... No sushi for parasite reasons I believe... No this no that.... The risks are very very low... Eat your beef jersey and stop reading about that stuff in particular lol :)
