Is sex in the first few weeks of pregnancy okay?

The hubs and I had a hot moment and I'm 4 weeks pregnant.   He was really scared to, but I insisted it would be okay.   Now I'm reading it wasn't a good idea.  Is it okay to have sex during the first few weeks of pregnancy?  Also, how about during the first trimester?  I really don't want to hurt the baby, as I'm soooo early in this pregnancy.

I believe you are perfectly fine! Don't stress yourself! Plenty of women have sex, maybe even daily, through their entire pregnancy! My only thought is sometimes - you may have placenta previa, etc in which they will advise you not to be sexual active for some time. You may not know of any restrictions yet so I can understand why others say not to. Again, may women don't even know they are pregnant into further into their pregnancy. So, if you are not bleeding or cramping - no reason to worry! You and your baby are completely fine!!!!

Sex is okay at any time during pregnancy unless stated otherwise by your doctor. 
Honestly get it while you can because you might end up like those of us who lose all interest in sex and then your left with a whiney husband lol

He won't hurt the baby, he won't poke the baby, the rocking won't hurt the baby. It's very well protected in there dispite how a lot of people act.

I lost my baby due to having sex a day after, doctor suggested to wait until second trimester.

I heard it's safe too but I have had a miscarriage twice after having sex in like the 4th 5th week. So for me I wouldn't risk it again.

I think it all depends on your pregnancy and body. I waiting until our first ultrasound and talked to the doctor (8w4d). After that we've been good to go: he's 29 weeks and healthy.
