Who else is not having a baby shower?

It's awsome to see all the mommy's to be are going to have a baby shower. It's awsome and fun!! Especially for ur first child. Who has had a couple of kids and is not having a shower. I had one for my first boy my second one I didn't and I'm having a girl now. My relatives told me they want to have a shower for me but I refuse . I just feel weird about having multiple showers . Anyone else the same.

I never planned on having a baby shower this time around. I haven't even revealed the pregnancy! I want to do a "sip and see" after he's born though. Something nice and calm where people can just come see the baby.

I asked one of my friends if it would be appropriate to have a shower for a second child and she was so rude. She said it wouldn't be (which is fine) but then she also asked why would I have one anyway if I know no one cares enough to come and this baby isn't important. That really hurt me and makes me rethink having a sip and see too. I don't want to hide this baby away. I'm not ashamed of him.

I'm not having one this time. I did with my daughter 2 years ago. We aren't finding out the gender of this one until birth so it would be hard for people to buy things. I also don't think 2nd baby's need baby showers.

I don't have anyone to throw me a shower, and there aren't many ppl who'd come... :/ It's my 3rd girl, but my first in almost 14 years... it's embarrassing and disappointing. Let your family throw you one!

I've heard of people having a baby sprinkle for their second, third, etc. You have most the stuff you need and it's basically just a get together to celebrate and get just the items you need new or different of

I would if family supported the shower. I'll probably have a diaper party or something after baby comes possibly. I have everything I could need for baby already do I don't need a shower but diapers are always nice to have.

I haven't announced yet to anyone and I am not planning on having a shower. I don't like feeling like the center of attention. I too self indulgent. And if I am going indulge myself partying with people over my bump just is t my thing. Since no one knows I am pregnant though it hasnt come up.

You should let them do a sprinkle or a diaper shower!! I completely get and respect not wanting to make people buy you gifts for multiple kids but if this is your first of a different gender you still need clothes and you always need diapers! I would let them do something small and tasteful... Showers aren't just for the mom to be they are also for everyone else to celebrate and who doesn't love celebrating a new baby!!

I'm pregnant with my first one and I'm not having a baby shower. It's not that I wouldn't like one, I guess it can be nice, it's just it's not a very popular custom where i'm from and I doubt my girlfriends would think to throw me one.

I am not having one for my first. Friends and family have asked but I find them boring and indulgent. They are still buying off registry (we registered for the discount we'll get) and gifts arrive daily) so nursery is coming together quickly
