I hate tardiness

Am I the only one who sees lateness as a form of disrespect? My husband is late to absolutely everything. I've told him countless times how much I hate it and how disrespectful it is to everyone around him. It's like our time means absolutely nothing and his time is so much more valuable. As of right now I'm waiting for him to get home to go to a birthday party that we are already an hour late to. He thinks it's no big deal and actually gets angry at me for getting so angry. I have no other solutions or ideas left. I'm so sick of it.
