Would you let your 16 year old date a 26 year old guy?

My friend wants to be in a relationship with a 26 year old guy. I find it strange and I don't know if I should tell her parents or not. I want to tell them because what can a 26 year old possibly have in common with a high school girl? I just want her safe but I don't want her to get mad at me if I tell.
