Vivienne Cimone !!
I was started on Cytotec the night before my induction and scheduled for the pitocin at 6 the next morning. By then I was having mild contractions every 2 to 3 minutes already. An hour and a half after starting the pitocin my contractions were every minute but still bearable. The doctor took it down a notch because they didn't want my uterus to be hyperstimulated. A few hours later and I'm in agony and my contractions are every minute to 30 seconds. The dr turned the pitocin off and an hour after that they regulated to 2 minutes apart and were just AWFUL. I got the epidural and it didn't work at all. I had to get another one. 2 hours after that I started pushing and it took 15 minutes to push out my baby girl! I tore quite a bit but other than that the pain from the contractions was the worst. Nothing to compare it to because this is my first but I feel like the pitocin definitely helped make the contractions more intense!! Baby girl came out at 5:45 pm on Tuesday July 12th weighing 8 lbs 1 oz, 19.5 inches long. ❤️❤️❤️
