Preseed

How well does pre seed work I've been trying to ttc for almost 4 years now with no luck I have a 5 year old already but I want another baby and I can't seem to do this ovulation thing right lol I'm new at this. I know I'm good on having kids and so is hubby but the timing is never right. Can anyone have advice?
