If this swelling is new and your doctor doesn't know about it, you need to call the dr. If they don't have an oncall, then go to the hospital. Swelling of feet is considered normal to a degree during pregnancy. However, painful swelling especially of both hands and feet is a hallmark sign of preeclampsia and needs to be assessed quickly.

You can soak them in Epsom salt, if you buy the salts the bag should say how much to use. Make the water as warm as you can handle and mix with salts... Soak those puppies for 20 minutes and I guarantee you'll feel better. Also sit in a reclined position with your feet elevated above your knees. That helps with blood flow. For hands you can also soak them in Epsom salt, I do one at a time so I can still use one hand.
