Are orgasms after pregnancy okay?

I feel silly asking this, but no healthcare provider has mentioned to me if orgasms are okay, particularly after a c section.  I understand that I'm supposed to wait for sex, but is it okay to get off from clitoral stimulation?  I'm concerned if the orgasm will help or hinder healing by causing the uterus to contract, and my vibrator is calling my name, so I'd really like to know.
