Baby shower gift returns no receipts? ?

I got some multiples , or things I already have. But most gifts didn't come with a receipt. Is there anything I can do??

There's an app for your phone either Barcode scanner or type in Red scanner, you scan the barcode and it tells you what store its from and the price. Then when you return it you'll get store credit.

I'd use the Walmart app and see if Walmart carries them. They will take them back without a receipt and even if they weren't purchased at that store. All you do is check to see if they carry that item, say it was a duplicate gift and they give you a gift card or let you exchange for something of equal value. Same goes for diapers! I've returned tons of unopened diapers that my daughter had outgrown and they exchanged them for a bigger size, no problem 😊

Most stores will let you trade for something else or give you store credit on a gift card. I live in a small where we only have Target, Walmart & Shopko. Chances are all baby gifts came from one of those places, so if it didn't come from one of those stores you try the next. Try that! I learned this when I got 8 crock pots for my wedding. 😁

Most stores will take returns without a receipt for store credit. Hopeful these items came from bigger stores because it's easier to get store credit.

That's frustrating...I'm surprised they didn't include a gift receipt. Where I live, stores are funny about taking things back without a receipt. I would contact the folks who bought you the item, ask where it was purchased and if they still have the receipt.

I had a good experience at walmart returning duplicates without a receipt. I'm not even sure if they were bought there but they took them.

If you know what store they are from, you can usually take them back for an exchange at the least..
