Take baby daddy to court or?

Baby daddy didn't want court, says hill give me X amount of money but when he's being a asshole he threatens to cut me off. He dosnt want to go to court. I'm not sure if I should just take him or leave it how it is unless he acually cuts us off. He makes good money and I'm a stay st home mom looking for a job. I DO not want to be stuck in the province he lives in (he sent us back to our home province) so court or no court?

Taking him to court doesn't need to be a spiteful act; it's simply a way to insure that your child is cared for properly and if he is negligent then he can be punished accordingly.

Girl take his ass to court. He can't just cut you off that's just wrong on so many levels. He shouldn't threaten to do that to you. That's unfair to you and the child

If he's being difficult and actually cuts you off, then I say take him to court. In court they'll see how much he makes and give you a certain amount of money according to that. If everything is for the needs of the child and being put toward feeding clothing and sheltering then that's what you need to do. Good luck.
