Ovulation after birth control
This post is for anyone wondering how long it can take to be back on a regular cycle after stopping birth control pills.
I recently stopped taking my birth control pills (my last pill was taken on July 8th). I spotted for a few days. Today (July 20th), I am having ovulation pains on my left side, and my opk is reading as slightly positive.
So, if anyone is worried that it will take a while to get back on a regular cycle and/or get pregnant after stopping birth control, that is simply not true! I'm on a totally normal cycle, which I was not expecting at all! I thought it would take a few cycles to be back to normal. I know everyone is different though. Hope that this gives some hope to someone!
