Miscarriage

Going through a miscarriage right now, I was 6 weeks and am losing it... I started bleeding bad Sunday and it has gotten worse each day since then... Went Monday for ultrasound to see what was going on and they couldn't find anything ... There was no pregnancy in the uterus is what she told me.. My questions are .. 1 . How long did some of you who have miscarried bleed? And 2. Do you have to have another period after the miscarriage before trying to get pregnant again?
