My mother in law is in jail

So to keep a long story short as possible I will get to the point.. My mother in law and her sister took their dads money while he was in a nursing home and spent it. Then her sister sold his house and took that money for her self all while telling the nursing home that he didn't have any assets(mind you this man was a farmer for nearly 80 years and kept a tight hold on to his money).. Fast forward about a year and he passes away :( my mother in law lives in another state and she didn't make it to the funeral and now about 6 months later here she is in jail as well as her sister.. They are both facing elder abuse and theft. Now while I don't condone(sp) any of this shit she is my husbands mother and we are doing everything we. An to help her... My husbands oldest brother lives in the same state as their mom so he's been giving her all the money he can so she can make calls and buy soap etc and is trying to get her a decent lawyer so she doesn't spend the era of her life in jail(she is 60 and facing 25 years) he's doing all this while raising 2 kids by himself.. His other brother lives up here in Iowa like we do and even though his mom gave him $ 20,000 when he needed it and we gave him $100 a few times just so  he and his wife could raise their kids, he is now saying that he isn't going to help at all and that he can't afford it.. I am so angry and I can't even talk about it with my husband because he's already frustrated enough.. He expected everyone to bend over backwards and help him when he needed it(and we didn't even get paid back after he was supposed to just be barrowing  it) he beniffeted a lot from what his mom did and now he won't help her at all!! My mother in law is being extradited back to Iowa sometime next week and he's pretty much said he can't do anything at all.. Mean while him and his wife just got new phones, they bought a new van, they went on vacation, went to a concert and a bunch of other shit and are now complaining that they are broke and don't have money to take care of their 3 kids... I am so infuriated my husband and I have been ttc for 3 years and have just recently been able to start saving enough money to discuss other options if we aren't able to conceive on our own soon but those plans are being put on hold to help my mother in law.. Honestly I don't even know why I'm writing this or what I'm expecting out of it.. I'm just so dam fed up!!
