Inner-upper thigh and lower pubis mons itches

My inner thigh has been itching like crazy its the inside near my vagina. I havent shaved in 4 weeks and its itching. I also have this red painful bump and it hurts really bad on my underwear. I'm thinking about putting cream on the itchy area, leaving the bump alone and never shaving again because when i do the bumps and itching comes back. 😤😷😡
