Measuring Small

This is our first pregnancy and we tried for a full year! We couldn't be more excited! I brought my husband to the first appointment to hear baby's heartbeat, and it was amazing. Great, strong heartbeat, according to the doc.

Then the doctor says I'm only measuring at 6 weeks. This is impossible. We used ovulation predictor kits, which worked perfectly, and would put us at exactly 8 weeks. When I explained this, the doc suggested we come back for a second ultrasound in 2 weeks.

Now I'm concerned about the fetal growth and worried about viability, but the doc wasn't worried and said baby looked great... just 6 weeks. Ugh!
