Period question

Does brown blood for a week count as your period?I haven't bled red for awhile and it isn't cuz my period was coming or after my period because no red blood at all after a week it went away and like 11 days i was spitting brown only a lil and after I wiped the first time it went away idk what's wrong ? Not pregnant either so idk what it could be
