Pityriasis rosea anyone?

Hi all! 
My doc believes I have ring worm or eczema. It keeps spreading! It started on my thigh and stomach and is now on the sides of my breasts and back! I am 8 weeks pregnant today. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? It is SO itchy!

I had it last year. Although I wasn't pregnant yet at the time. It started as a patch on my chest and it spread all over my body. Doctor said nothing can really be done except to let it get better on its own. It took almost 8 weeks for me and I was really frustrated with itchiness. I tried oatmeal baths, Epsom salt baths, eczema cream, lotions. It still took almost 8 weeks. Try to stay cool and maybe use cold compresses for temporary relief. I hope you'll get better asap. ❤️

I had pityriasis rose as a teen and my little brother has it now, it never itched and primarily breaks out on the abdominal areas in stead of your extremities. You probably have something else.

Pityriasis rosea isn't a fungal infection like ring worm and it's not the same as eczema. PR usually starts with a single patch then spreads in smaller patches to other areas of the body. Unfortunately, it usually continues to spread until it's run its course and generally the only treatment is a topical steroid cream to help relieve the itching. If you haven't seen a dermatologist, they should be able to diagnose it. Sometimes other physicians have a hard time distinguishing between "rashes". Hope you feel better soon 😊
