Anyone else feel like there baby will come late?

Does anyone feel like there baby will be late? I have a feeling mine will. I was completely closed last week when they checked my cervix at 36 weeks and this week they said I'm like a finger tip dilated but I'm 40percent effaced. I think I'm going to go over. And I'm miserable. 😭

I'm 37 weeks, and 5 days. My cervix is still completely closed. I think I have a  Stubborn child.

With 6 days to go now I am 😒 I was so sure he'd come early, but he seems like he's doing just fine. He's head down and he pushes into my cervix a lot, but so far nothing more than some cramping and tightening going on. I'm trying to convince him he'll have more room for flailing around out here cause right now I think he might tear his way out.

39 weeks today and I feel like he is just chilling with no intentions on moving out. I had an appointment today and didn't even have her check because I didn't want to get discouraged. 😩

I feel like I will be pregnant forever! I'm a FTM and I know statistically first babies are late but at my 37 week cervical check my OB just said, "Nope. Nothing. She still has a lot of work to do." BOO! Lol At my final ultrasound at 34 weeks they said she was just shy of 5 lbs. and they anticipate she will be right around 7 at birth.

With baby #1 I went to dr and was 0 cm and 0 effaced and I went into labor that night 12 days early. With my daughter I sat at 2 cm and 70% for 2 weeks and she came 4 days earlt. I checked myself last night for this baby and I am at least 2cm and super soft but I have this gut feeling I may go late. I am not due til the 20th though buy I have had zero contractions that are even uncomfortable lol

Yep. They don't check your cervix in the UK, but my baby is very active and I have no pains or discomforts. She isn't getting any lower. She still flips into breech position occasionally, having a little party. She is in NO rush at all!!

🙋🏻 I'm 37 weeks. Got checked at 36 weeks and was 1 dilated, 50% effaced. This is my third pregnancy and with the other two I was 2 dilated, 70% effaced when I got checked. So I think she will stay in till her due date or go a bit over, and I'm very okay with that. Surprisingly my brain has not yet completely  grasped the reality that I'm having another baby, I'm sure the contractions will take care of that.

39 weeks tomorrow and was a dimple dilated and 50% effaced. My dr instructed me to have sex.. she also rubbed my cervix to stimulate dilation.. we shall see wednesday (hopefully my last prenatal appt) what the next step will be
