Sunny side up baby?

Question

I'm almost a hundred percent sure that our girl is sunny side up. I can feel her elbows, hands, knees, all right out the front of my stomach and have never felt anything to the back. 
I'm due august 7th, but I have had menstrual like cramps for the past two days almost all the time, constant Braxton hicks with pulling pains. And I've even had what I believe was a few contractions and then they stopped completely as soon as I was getting excited -____- I've read that prodomal labor is common with sunny side up babies since your body works to turn them and then gives up lol so since many of you July momma's have had your little ones I was hoping you could give me your experience with sunny side up babies and what it was like! 
And is it possible to have Braxton hicks that are regular? I believe what I've been having are Braxton hicks but they hurt more than they used to and they're pretty regular normally while I have them. Thanks in advance!

My son was sunny side up. The contractions during labor moved him into the correct position just before he was born.

Following. 2 days overdue with baby #2,he is  a sunny side up baby. I have had labor pains for weeks but it never sticks!

My baby girl TRIED to come sunny side up, July 19th I had her and her face is all bruised from it, they had to turn her before she got out

My second babe was sunny side up. It was a shorter labor but oh man it was so much more painful. I felt it all in the back. As long as I was able to walk or sit on the birthing ball it was bearable but sitting in the bed was a no go. Epidural worked everywhere BUT my back. It did at least dull enough of the pain to allow me to focus and push babe out. Good luck Hun, there is still time for him to turn around .

My first was sunny side up and she tore the crap out of me on the way out. 4th degree! Be prepared for a longer recovery and the worst butt hole pain EVER! TMI. Stock up on ice packs now. My labor only lasted 14 hours total so idk if labor is harder and longer with a sunny side up baby. My second was face down and labor was only 5 hours but I was induced. There's no way to know for sure. It's gonna be what it's gonna be.

I had my third baby sunny side up. My active labour was 1hour29min and the pushing was 4min. Contractions were very very painful, all in my lower back and thighs, but I didn't tear. If you don't control your breathing and pushing then you're more likely to tear so just do what the MW says and take it slow. My butt also hurt a lot during the pushing, but that's normal if you don't have pain meds you do feel like you're giving birth out your butt 😂 I don't think that's anything to do with sunny side up as I had the butt pain with my second son too

My son was sunny side up as well. My OB and nurses said I did great to have pushed him out in 41 mins since he was sunny side up. They said most moms with babies sunny side up push for 3 hours with NO progress, resulting in them having to have a C-section.

My baby was turning as I was in labor pushing him out. The nurse and my OBGYN told me to push on my sides and rotate from side to back go side. My OBGYN stuck her whole hand in me to turn him which she did but he turned yet again. I pushed for 3 hours until he pooped in me and at that point I knew he was in distress so I asked for the c-section. It was a long day. My water had broken on its own but I developed a fever. After the section and being in labor for 3 hours I ended up getting an infection in my uterus. Ended up needed a blood transfusion from all the blood loss too. I was in the hospital for 5 days. We just got home yesterday. I don't mean to scare you but I was adamant not to have the c-section because I was scared of the recovery. It ended up being the best thing I could've done for us both. There are some positions and exercises you can do to get baby in the ideal position. I have done it twice..once when my baby was transverse and then a few weeks ago baby was sunny side up. Did those positions for a couple days and baby is all good now! :)

Mine was born sunny side 4 days ago, I was 4 days past due, but had been having inconsistent Braxton hicks for a few weeks. My LO was over 8lbs and the pain I experienced from his body or head hitting nerves and discs on the way out was worse than the contractions. Combined with the contractions, it was so much worse than I was prepared for. I ended up getting an epidural, although I didn't want to, but was always open to it. In the end it was awesome, I was able to welcome my baby into the world happy and not in agony. I also let a lot of the epidural wear off before pushing so k could still feel somethings and move around. Good luck, I know back labor is common with sunny side up, not to scare you :)
