Irritated at Doctor!

At my last appointment (39 weeks) my doctor yelled (kind of jokingly kind of not) at me for still being pregnant. For 3 weeks now ive just been a finger tip dialated, He didnt believe me that i was doing my 3 miles of walking that he wants all of his pregnant patients to do... Trust me i was, proof was in the pelvis pain. Im scared for my next appointment this thursday at 40 weeks and 1 day, because what if im still a finger tip dialated... Is he really gonna yell at me? Hes making me feel like its all my fault and im a a failure already at being a mom. Ive literally tried everything to jumpstart labor and still nothing, what else does he want me to do. Trust me if i could control my body, my baby would have been here a week ago! Its not fair that im scared/dreding this appointment when i should be excited. Any tips on what I can do?
