Is it okay to drink these during pregnancy?
Okay, so I've always been a big meat eater. Steaks, bacon, chicken, you name it. But since I've been pregnant, I find myself not being able to eat a lot of meat. It's so weird, but I can barely eat half a pork chop. I always make a meat dish with our meals but I'm never able to finish my serving, I try though. I'm worried I've not been getting enough protein to supplement Baby O and myself, so today I bought the Special K Protein Shakes that have 15g of protein. Is it okay for me to drink these as a source of protein? I'll NOT be using them as a meal replacement, or as my sole source of protein, just as a "booster". Will that work? Also, if anybody has any tips on how to get my nutrients, I would be grateful. Just trying my best to be healthy!
