Wich one for first time?

I have this question because we started using aveeno after my second baby was around 2 month her pediatrician says that was better for her. So! Now The we are using it from the beginning with our third gift. But I'm not sure which one will be better the Fragance free or the lavender one for a newborn baby? Thanks in advance.

Our pediatrician advised against anything with lavender for the first few months because she said for a lot of babies it can irritate the skin. But our daughter hasn't had any adverse reaction. Fragrance free is probably the safest bet though if you're concerned.

I avoid any products with lavender:
From 2007: "issue of the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that repeated topical use of products containing lavender oil and/or tea tree oil may cause prepubertal gynecomastia, a rare condition resulting in enlarged breast tissue in boys prior to puberty, and for which a cause is seldom identified."

For our 3 month old, we use Aveena fragrance free during the day if he needs it & Burts Bees Lavender lotion at night to help calm him down for his bed time. I have sensitive skin so I tend to use products that cater to that for my son just in case. We haven't had any problems. We love both of them :)

It's good to always get everything fragrance free since it's going on baby's skin and you don't want them to break out from it or be allergic

I think it depends on how sensitive your baby is. 
My son used scented lotions from day one. But my sisters son has very sensitive skin and has o have fragrance free (plus certain diapers/wipes). You'll just have to see when little one gets here
