Whenever you're ready.  age doesn't matter. I started using them with my second period, because I think pads are disgusting. And if I ever have a daughter, she can use them as soon as she wants

Whenever they want to and know how to properly insert them. Plus they would need to know and practice good hygiene for when to change so that they don't risk toxic shock. It Important for some athletic girls. I first started using them when I was 11 for dance performances and continued for swimming. No reason to put a taboo around it 😊
