How....?

Does anyone know how accurate an abdominal ultrasound is in figuring out the due date in comparison to the other. I went to an ultrasound place today and paid out of pocket to have one done since I couldn't get one with my dr until the end of the first trimester, and they only did an abdominal one and measured me a week behind exactly. Just curious how accurate that may be.
