How early to take the test?

My period is five days late. I've been stressed lately and think it may be because of that. Could it be because of the stress? Should I take a pregnancy test? And if so how early can I take one and get accurate results?

Have you had sex? If so take one. If not then there's no need to. You could take it in the morning with the first pee and the results would be very accurate since you're 5 days late. Since you're stressed taking one might help relieve it

it could be cause of stress but if you took the pill it can also be caused by that. the test will be most accurate if taken in the morning right when you wake up and also after a week or two after missing your period that month

Stress is entirely possible but if you've been sexually active then pregnancy is entirely possible as well. I would recommend taking a test to find out for sure. How early you can test depends on the test you get. Some are up to five days before your missed period. I think pretty much any test would be accurate for you now
