Skipping a Period?

Hi, Hello, Hey and Hola. So I recently  went on vacation with my family and my dads brothers family. Long story short.. it was a really stressful vacation. I was supposed to get my period the day we went on vacation but I didn't. I thought it was normal until now that I've realized that I'm 14 days late!! Now I know I'm not pregnant because I've never had any kind of sexual activity (only 16). Anyway, wanted to know if this was normal. My mom said it was but she's never have it happen to her so... Idk. Thanks so much!!!
