Safe finger foods?

What are some finger foods that I can give to my son that are safe? He's almost 8 months & has no teeth yet.

My little guy is also almost 8 months and has no teeth but he loves to eat finger foods. He eats squished fresh blueberries, strawberries, plum, peaches, pears all cut into small pieces, steamed green beans cut into small pieces, cooked peas, cooked black beans (also squished a little bit), banana, avocado, rice rusks, gerber puffs, yogurt melts, arrowroot cookies, gerber cheese puffs, Cheerios, shredded soft cheese, strips of whole wheat toast... There are a lot of great ideas on Pinterest. Mostly I stick to soft foods or foods that dissolve quickly.

Answer

My baby likes the puffs from gerber and the banana flavored teething cookies. My son though is a replica of his father and like him, has problems with textures. So going from the puffs, cookies, Cheerios has been a bit difficult.
