Don't know it this is the right place.
I rent a house of my mum and dad. Been with my partner for 4years and have 1 child together (3month old) and a my son who is nearly 7. My partner owns he house and bought it 4months before we meet. Anyway I told my mum and dad 9 months ago that I would be moving out in the school summer holidays to move in with my partner I have rented this house for 5 years. My dad was fine with it said he fully understands and it's time for me and my partner to start a new chapter as a family.
My mum has just gone ape shit crazy! I rang my dad to say I was moving out in 4 weeks but will pay my rent for the 4 weeks after that so they don't lose money. My mum has now decided she wants my dad to sell the house and that I can't move out until it is sold or I have to carry on paying the £550 if I do move out. I spoke with my dad about it all and we came up with that I will cry on paying the mortgage (£265 a month) until it is rented it sold. My mum is saying this is not good enough! If I rented of anybody else i would not even have to pay the £265. She is saying That I am selfish. When I moved in it was a mess, not been lived in for 15yrs it was valued at £32,000 it is now on the market for £92,500 I have paid and done all the work myself.
Am I in the wrong for moving out?
