Rehersal dinner?!

Ok so, my husband is in a wedding tomorrow. We are good friends with the couple. Tonight is the rehersal and rehersal dinner. When we got the invite for the dinner it had both of our names on the envelope. At the Bachelorette party the maid of honor told me, see you on Friday. Do I go to the rehersal or just the dinner?

Just meet him at dinner. A few people did that for my own wedding and I could care less as long as the people who are in the wedding were there. Otherwise they just have to sit and watch for 45 mins. For my sisters wedding in October, I'm the maid of honor and my husband will just meet us at the dinner because I don't want him to have to leave work early to get there in time.

What are you going to do, sit in the car? Andy was in a wedding, I just sat in the pews with the other attendants' spouses during the rehearsal.

Why'd you want to sit through a rehearsal wedding? My mum didn't make me or my brother go through the rehearsal ceremony when her and my stepdad got married cuz it can be long.

If you aren't in the wedding then it's usually just the dinner you would attend... But you could always ask if you are unsure.

Well I would ask to be sure! I have kind of a similar situation, but I am the bride haha. I'm getting married in 3 weeks and one of my fiancés groomsmen has a girlfriend who is not in the wedding. We are doing the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the same site, so maybe that makes it a little different, but I assumed his groomsman would bring his girlfriend to the whole thing. I will make sure he knows that she is welcome during the rehearsal as well as the dinner 😊
