Which bottle?

Which bottles are better to transition from the breast or to use alongside breast feeding? Haven't had baby yet just thinking ahead. I'm hoping after 6 weeks of being completely on breast I'll be able to express so the other half can help with night feeds, be able to leave baby with my mum etc xxx

I'm expecting my fourth and have always used tommee tippee. I've tried a few brands and find these best. But try a couple and see what baby likes best 😊

We bought a whole set of tommee tippee bottles before LO was born so that we could do the same thing. She still can't use them as even the slow flow teat is too fast for her, she just chokes and splutters. We did get an extra slow flow teat with the express and go freezer bag set which she loves but cannot buy another one anywhere! Even TT have said hey don't manufacture them anymore.

Anyway so now we've moved onto Avent bottles as they have "newborn" teats which she likes a lot :)

I have ordered MAM bottles after reading lots of reviews.  In the end you may have to try a few types before finding ones that your baby likes, but I chose MAM to start off with. I really like that they are self sterilising in the microwave so I won't need a separate steriliser (my kitchen is tiny!) and there are lots of reviews raving about how babies take them that won't take other bottles and that they're good for preventing colic/gas/reflux. They're quite expensive in the shops, but if you keep an eye out you can sometimes find starter sets on amazon for quite a good price.

We've always used tommee tippee. I breastfed both of mine and when the time came, they had no problems at all taking from tt bottles. Lg was 8 weeks and lb was 3 weeks. X
