I'm thinking about having sex with my boyfriend for my 18th birthday. Is that a bad thing. I'm Christian and have some of the same beliefs but I don't see sex as a bad thing.

Wanting sex isn't bad at all, it's fun and healthy and feels good! I understand being a little unfamiliar with being able to be comfortable and confident about sex due to a religious upbringing but I promise you're fine. Just pleasepleaseplease 1) research how to properly use condoms (don't use oil based lubes with condoms, make sure it's put on properly with a little extra reservoir at the end for his cum, don't store in a hot car or in your wallet, etc) 2) take it easy and don't feel pressured, even if you decide halfway through you want to stop that is OK! and you aren't obligated to do anything you don't wanna do 3) your pleasure is not negotiable, sex needs to feel just as good for you as it does your partner, your orgasms are important!
