To wash or not?

Ok so I am unsure if I should wash all of the new clothes my twin boys have hung in there closet. I feel like the clothes are brand new and clean since they came from the store. What is you alls in take on this?

I washed my daughters and plan to wash the twin's clothes. I know I touch the baby clothes in the store a lot so do a lot of other people. People sneeze etc. all in the stores and then touch them and you never know who has washed their hands either. Ive seen baby clothes on the floor and picked up and placed back on the rack. It just grosses me out to put that on a baby with little to no tolerance for many illnesses. I say to each their own, but I wash everything before I bring the babies home.

I worked in retail for over 7 years. PLEASE wash your clothes. You don't know who or what those clothes have been through before you buy them. It's really gross to be honest. Even baby clothes. They get dropped on the floor constantly and hung back up.

You want to wash all of the clothes, blankets and pretty much everything baby will wear or be wrapped in. .. at least i do this.
Towels, washcloths, changing pad cover too.

Don't wash them yet! I washed everything before my daughter was born, and she didn't wear over half of the clothes before she grew out of them and I had all these brand new things that were non returnable

Wash them all with drift detergent bc their skin is so sensitive when they come out and you don't know if those clothes were returned or what

I only  wished the stuff I bought at yard sales a long with a few in each size. Like I wasn't 3/4 of th newborn outfits and onsies and pants, but the rest I left with the tags and I'll wash it if needed, that was if they aren't worn, I can take them back!

I am so glad I did not wash any of the new clothes we bought bc we just got 2 bags full from a lady from our church. With that and what we bought from the thrift store I think they will have plenty of clothes and since I kept the tags on, we can take them back and get larger sizes. This is what she gave us that we are going to rewash.

Definitely wash.. Tons of people have had their hands all over them, who knows what was on their hands. Not to mention all the chemicals they use to preserve the clothes that needs to be washed off.. One of which is formaldehyde!
