When to address our 'title'

Hey ladies! Just having some internal conflict. I've been talking to this guy for about a month now and we've went on like 4-5 amazing dates. Such a gentleman and very brilliant. He likes me a lot and I like him. He's also about 5 years older than I am so I don't know when it's appropriate to ask what we are. Any advice helps!

You could be funny about it, when I first started dating my husband he was the one to address it by asking me what kind of material his shirt was. I went to check his tag and he had written (boyfriend material???) on the tag. Cheesy but cute none the less.  Maybe do something long the same lines? Funny and charming.

I'd say 4-5 dates is still early and your relationship status isn't something you should be stressing over at this point. Both of you are still getting to know each other. Too often women want to put a title to it and just end up running the guy off and ruining what could've been a good thing. Be patient and see where things go. If you're still wondering after a few months then address it.

I agree with others that a "title" (I'm assuming you mean boyfriend/girlfriend) seems a bit early at only 4-5 dates. If what you're getting at is exclusive dating, you could always say something like "I am really enjoying getting to know you & I wanted to tell you that I'm not seeing anyone else" & see if he responds in kind. That's very not-pushy & may start a good conversation.

Why do you have to have a title or even be concerned about one this early on. So you've been on a few dates and like eachother, at this point you're dating. I knw people who have just dated for years.
