Erks my nerves.

What really erks my nerves is when girls take advantage of the things they have with their SO such as, sleeping next to them every night, kissing them, hugging, texting/calling, them being safe, a civilian to be exact. My fiancé is half civilian & half military. Even when he's a civilian he still works in an unsafe environment, a prison to be exact. Works 12 hr shifts without his cell phone. He could go into work one night and not make it home the next morning because a prisoner decided to show his true colors. Night shift, oh the things I would give to be able to sleep next to him at night. It's been almost a year. Military - deployments, distance, less communication. We've been through a lot together the 5 years we've been together. Do I wish some things were different such as occupation choices, yes, but he's doing what he loves. To the girls who take all of that for granted just know how lucky you are.
